Located at 1772 Bedford Highway, the 08-095 branch is Riverlake's local Royal Canadian Legion branch and has been an invaluable supporter and partner of our club. 

The Royal Canadian Legion's mission is to serve Veterans, including serving military and RCMP members and their families, to promote Remembrance, and to serve our communities and our country.

Who We Are

Riverlake Rugby Football Club is a vibrant and growing rugby community based in Fall River, Nova Scotia. Founded in 2006, the club has built a strong reputation for inclusivity, sportsmanship, and player development. Over nearly two decades, Riverlake has evolved into a respected organization within Rugby Nova Scotia, fielding competitive Men’s and Women’s Division 2 teams and offering robust youth and mini programs.

 

With players and supporters drawn from across the Halifax Regional Municipality, Riverlake prides itself on creating a welcoming environment for athletes of all skill levels. The club’s home base at the Bedford Legion and Range Park Bedford serves as the heart of training and community activity, where players gather to develop skills, fitness, and camaraderie.

 

Riverlake has made a strong mark on the provincial scene, with several of its players contributing to the Nova Scotia Keltics in age-grade championships. The club’s dedication to youth development is evident in its summer programs and school outreach, helping to introduce the sport to the next generation.

 

Leadership and community spirit are central to Riverlake’s identity. The club is entirely volunteer-driven and is known for its organization, commitment to safety, and active role in promoting rugby across the province. Annual general meetings ensure transparency and future-focused planning, while social events and sponsorships help keep the club thriving.

 

Riverlake RFC remains a proud representative of grassroots rugby in Nova Scotia, offering opportunities for growth, competition, and connection on and off the field.
